CFD Engineer

Your Job: As a CFD Engineer at John Zink, a Koch Engineered Solutions Company, located in Navi-Mumbai, you will be a part of the CFD team within the Engineering and Design Group. Your role will involve supporting customers in optimizing their equipment and innovating combustion and emissions solutions. You will play a pivotal role in driving technology and product development, as well as assisting customers in various technology sectors such as Flares, Burners, Thermal Oxidizers, and Vapor Control. What You Will Do: - Lead and execute CFD projects related to fired equipment from the proposal stage through analysis, reporting, and presentation - Foster long-term business growth by contributing to technology, product development, and customer relationships - Collaborate closely with combustion engineers to ensure the accuracy of CFD results - Utilize CFD simulation capabilities to enhance product design, grow understanding of technologies, and support business development - Provide support to the commercial department during the order acquisition phase Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): - Fresher to 2 years of experience in a CFD role - Place priority on integrity, contribution motivation, and promote strong economical thinking - Passionate about CFD modeling and its applications - Deep understanding of fluid mechanics and thermal sciences - Proficiency in using CFD software like Siemens Star-CCM+, Ansys FLUENT, or OpenFOAM - Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written - Master's degree in an engineering discipline - Excellent organizational skills, including task management and prioritization What Will Put You Ahead: - Previous experience in combustion or heat transfer related fields - Experience in an international work environment and Linux cluster administration - Experience in the oil & gas industry - Subject matter expertise of thermal oxidizers or flares - Knowledge in Noise/Acoustics At Koch companies, as entrepreneurs, challenging the status quo, creating value, and getting rewarded for individual contributions is encouraged.
