About The Position
Editing & Creative Execution
- Edit full podcast episodes, documentaries, thematic films, recap videos, corporate showcases, and social cuts.
- Craft strong narrative structures through pacing, music, transitions, and emotional rhythm.
- Manage color correction, color grading, audio clean-up, sound mixing, and motion elements.
- Create/edit intro/outro templates, transitions, LUTs, and storytelling formats.
Process Ownership
- Build efficient editing workflows, file structures, templates, and consistency systems.
- Ensure predictable turnaround time for all post-production tasks.
- Handle platform formatting and encoding (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, OTT-like timelines).
Team Leadership
- Supervise and guide the junior editor on timelines, creative approach, and execution.
- Review drafts, provide feedback, and maintain uniform quality across all published assets.
Success Indicators
- High audience retention & engagement on long-form content.
- Smooth post-production workflow with minimal rework.
- Visual and narrative consistency across all edits.
- Strong storytelling visible in mood, pacing, sound, and overall structure.
Responsibilities
- 6–10 years of professional video editing experience (YouTube shows, documentaries, OTT, branded content, corporate storytelling).
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and audio tools.
- Knowledge of color grading, sound design, motion graphics, captioning, and compositing.
- Ability to work closely with cinematographers and production teams.
- Experience managing timelines, reviews, and junior team members.
