Role Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, along with hands-on exposure to Non-Functional Testing (NFR) including load/performance and security testing. The role focuses on ensuring application quality through effective test design, execution, and automation.

Job Description /Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright/Selenium.
• Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements.
• Conduct NFR testing including load/performance testing and security testing.
• Identify, log, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business teams to ensure complete test coverage.
• Support automation and NFR best practices across the QA team.

Technical Skills(Mandatory):

• 3–6 years of experience in software testing / QA.
• Strong expertise in manual testing of web and/or enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools – Playwright/Selenium – Playwright is primary – Java scripts or typescript (Selenium is optional)
• Practical experience in load/performance testing and security testing. – Good to have
• Knowledge of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with test and defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail, ALM, etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills(Optional):

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile  Experience with performance tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with security testing tools like OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite.
• Exposure to CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
• Domain experience in Banking, Insurance, or Finance.

Qualifications:

B-Tech in Computer Science or related field from a reputed institution.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
