Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Test Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to lead our testing team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and provide exemplary customer service.

Roles and Responsibility

Lead a Shared Services testing team consisting of multi-skilled testers, including Automation, Performance, and Functional Testers.
Participate in functional and technical discussions with clients and teams to ensure effective testing strategies.
Review and execute test cases, defect reporting, test plan design, review and validate test documents, status reporting, and metrics preparation.
Guide and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities and increase productivity.
Interact with stakeholders from different functional areas, including Platform, NPI, and ETS teams.
Develop and guide team members to improve their technical capabilities and boost productivity.

Job Requirements

Experience with Test Management Tools such as JIRA and TFS.
Knowledge of STLC, agile methodology, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Understanding of Performance Testing using Apache jMeter and analyzing NFRs.
Familiarity with Selenium and Java with knowledge of POM model.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), cooperative, open-minded, and a strong team player.
Experience in defining QC strategies for a mid-sized team.
Good knowledge of BDD and Cypress understanding.
Experience in automation testing (Smoke and Regression testing).
Knowledge of DevOps and Performance testing.
Knowledge of testing NFRs.
ISTQB certified or prior experience in handling a team is a plus.
Advanced Level Test Manager (CTAL-TM) certification is a plus.
