Sr. Tender Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Tender Executive to handle costing, bid preparation, and proposal submission for structural fabrication and erection projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, experience in cost estimation, and the ability to prepare and submit both technical and commercial bids in compliance with tender requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate tender documents (BOQ, drawings, specifications, and terms).
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural steel fabrication and erection works.
• Estimate material quantities, man-hours, equipment, and subcontractor requirements.
• Prepare pricing sheets based on direct and indirect costs, overheads, and margins.
• Collect quotations from vendors and subcontractors to support cost estimates.
• Prepare and compile technical proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications.
• Draft commercial bids, including detailed cost breakdowns and price summaries.
• Ensure compliance with all tender requirements and timely submission.
• Handle pre-bid queries, clarifications, and attend pre-bid meetings when required.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders and track their status.
• Prepare bid summaries, comparison sheets, and submission schedules.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal departments for bid follow-up.
• Participate in post-tender negotiations and provide support for contract finalization.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of structural fabrication and erection processes.
• Experience in costing, estimation, and tendering procedures.
• Understanding of technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Knowledge of commercial terms, taxes, duties, and pricing mechanisms.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP/Tendering Software.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tenders simultaneously.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
