Job Description

Job Summary:

The Tender Senior Executive will be responsible for managing and coordinating the end-to-end tendering process for power projects, including thermal, hydro, solar, wind, and transmission & distribution. This role ensures timely submission of competitive and compliant bids in line with company objectives and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management:
  • Analyze tender documents (RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, specifications, drawings, etc.) for power infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, procurement, finance) to prepare comprehensive bid proposals.
  • Prepare bid checklists, timelines, and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Draft technical and commercial proposals in compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Coordination:
  • Liaise with engineering teams for optimal technical solutions.
  • Review scope of work, technical specifications, and drawings to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
  • Work with estimators and procurement to develop accurate cost estimates and pricing strategies.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
  • Ensure all documentation, such as pre-qualification documents, financial statements, certifications, and licenses are up to date and submitted with bids.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all bids submitted, clarifications received, and post-bid evaluations.
  • Client & Stakeholder Interaction:
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and government bodies during pre-bid meetings, site visits, and technical clarifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Post-Tender Activities:
  • Assist in contract negotiations, handover to project execution teams, and resolution of pre-award clarifications.
  • Analyze won/lost tenders to identify areas for improvement in future submissions.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in handling tenders for EPC power projects (Generation or T&D).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and construction contracting.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (optional), and tendering software/tools.
  • Knowledge of local and international tendering regulations and practices.

Pay: ₹360,616.95 - ₹1,065,467.54 per year
