Job Description

You will be responsible for the following project responsibilities: - Knowledge of transmission equipment and associated terminologies. - Ability to isolate and resolve troubles in access systems, SONET transport technologies, EDSX cross-connects, OTN, CPL, CDC, PTS, RLS/ELS, and synchronization. - Familiarity with transport hierarchies such as OTU, OCx, SONET, STSx, Tx, etc. - Experience with transport equipment like Ciena/ Nortel, Fujitsu, Nokia / Alcatel Lucent. - Collaborate with team members for trouble resolution. - Work with technicians for on-site assistance. - Initiate and respond to queries, discuss trouble details, and confirm resolutions with stakeholders. - Perform work in accordance with published work plans, processes, and procedures. - Ability to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Professional oral and written communication skills. To perform the roles and responsibilities, you should have the following required skills: - B.Tech or equivalent qualification. - CCNA/CCNP Certification or Training. - Good understanding of SONET and transport hierarchies. - Knowledge of SONET transport technologies, EDSX cross-connects, OTN, CPL, CDC, PTS, RLS/ELS. - Understanding of Ringpath and protection schemes. - Hands-on experience with Ciena/ Nortel, Fujitsu, Nokia / Alcatel Lucent. - Knowledge of automated provisioning, network telemetry, circuit documenting, ticketing, testing, and dispatch systems. - Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision. - Ability to coordinate with various teams effectively. - Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills. - Follow up on pending requests with stakeholders for timely closure. - Provide accurate information using appropriate methods/tools. - Comfortable working late evening/night shifts permanently. - Comfortable with permanent office-based work. - Flexible with working on Indian holidays. - Willingness to relocate to the Delhi/Noida region. - Comfortable with a 24/7 work environment.,
