Sr Technical Service Engineer

The Tier 1/2 Desktop Support Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support for our offshore office in New Delhi, four U.S.-based branch locations, and our remote workforce. This role ensures end-to-end support for users and systems across the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-users, including desktops/workstations, PBX phone systems, Microsoft Teams, corporate email, printers, and conference room systems.
• Support all BSI SaaS applications and perform IT support activities, including break/fix tasks.
• Manage hardware inventory, asset tagging, documentation, and reporting.
• Perform workstation installations, patching, and upgrades.
• Install, maintain, and monitor software applications.
• Interface with vendors for support services related to telephony, computers, and network systems.
• Research and recommend new or replacement equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Assist with infrastructure projects, cybersecurity initiatives, and helpdesk operations as assigned.
• Report and document security concerns promptly and accurately in accordance with company policies.
• Provide after-hours support when necessary.

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop and helpdesk support.
• Proficiency with Office 365 Suite.
• Experience with desktop operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 11, and Ubuntu.
• Hands-on experience managing Active Directory in a Windows environment.
• Knowledge of basic network protocols and switching fundamentals.
• Prior experience supporting cloud-based applications such as O365, Mimecast, AWS Workspaces, Salesforce, Okta, and Google Workspace.
