Role Overview:

The Sr. Student Counsellor will play a key role in guiding students throughout their study-abroad journey. This includes counselling, application processing, documentation support, and ensuring smooth coordination from admission to visa filing. The ideal candidate should have strong student counselling experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for guiding students toward global education opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents on study abroad programs, university selections, courses, and admission requirements.
• Assess student profiles and recommend suitable countries, universities, and programs (UK, Canada, Australia, USA, Europe, etc.).
• Handle end-to-end student application processes including documentation, application submission, follow-up, and offer management.
• Provide guidance on SOPs, LORs, financial documents, visa procedures, and interview preparation.
• Stay updated with university partnerships, academic program trends, and admission policies.
• Maintain student records, follow up on enquiries, and ensure timely pipeline conversions.
• Coordinate with universities/partners for application updates and admission outcomes.
• Participate in student engagement events, education fairs, and marketing activities.
• Achieve monthly admission and visa processing targets.
• Mentor junior counsellors and assist in training them as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Masters degree (preferably in Education, Business, or related field)
• Minimum

  25 years of experience

  in overseas education counselling
• Strong knowledge of leading study destinations (UK/Canada/Australia/USA)
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
• Good understanding of admission portals, CRM software, and student application systems
• Strong follow-up, coordination, and counselling skills
