Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Storekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory, ensuring the smooth operation of our store, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills to effectively manage the store's daily activities and support team members.

Duties

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the store.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks to ensure product availability.
  • Supervise and manage a team of staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
  • Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Ensure that all products are displayed attractively and in accordance with company standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with management to develop sales strategies and improve store operations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised store environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including scheduling staff shifts and managing documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in multilingual or bilingual capabilities being an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in merchandising and sales management is highly desirable.
  • Administrative experience is beneficial for handling paperwork and operational tasks.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about retail and possess the necessary skills to contribute positively to our team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
