Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 9 to 12 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL with a strong background in Retail Banking. This role involves developing and maintaining software solutions that enhance our retail banking services ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL to support retail banking operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements that improve customer experience in retail banking.
Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging processes.
Analyze and resolve complex technical issues by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the application of best practices in software development.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements translating them into technical specifications and solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information in retail banking applications.
Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Document software designs technical specifications and development processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
Engage in agile development practices participating in sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software on time.

Qualifications

Possess strong expertise in AWS SQL Spring Boot Angular JS Java JavaScript and MySQL with a proven track record in software development.
Demonstrate deep understanding of retail banking domain with experience in developing solutions tailored to this industry.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and devise effective solutions.
Show proficiency in agile development methodologies with experience in working within cross-functional teams.
Display strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Have a proactive approach to learning and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail ensuring the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions.
