Job Description

Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary:

ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage ServiceNow
ITSM modules
including:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Change Management
Configuration Management (CMDB)
Knowledge Management
Handle medium to complex
workflow management
and automation.
Manage
ServiceNow instance upgrades
and patches across customer environments.
Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand
business requirements
and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with clients.
Provide support and troubleshooting for ongoing issues and enhancement requests.

Technical Skills Required:

Strong understanding and hands-on experience in
ServiceNow administration
, particularly ITSM.
Proficient in
JavaScript
for both client-side and server-side scripting.
Experience working with
ServiceNow APIs
.
Good understanding of
relational databases
(MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
Solid knowledge of
database concepts
and querying techniques.

Certifications (Required):

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

Preferred Certifications:

ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM)
Micro-Certifications:
Automated Test Framework
Flow Designer
Integration Hub
Virtual Agent

Soft Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with clients and stakeholders independently
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
