Sr. Security Manager

Job Overview:

The Security Manager is responsible for safeguarding company assets, employees, and tenants through the development, implementation, and management of effective security policies, procedures, and systems. This role requires leadership in managing security personnel, ensuring compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with external vendors and law enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Policy Development

Design, implement, and update security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect company assets and personnel.

2. Risk Assessment & Mitigation

Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security audits.

Recommend and implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.

3. Team Leadership & Management

Hire, train, and supervise security staff to ensure adherence to company standards and operational excellence.

4. Incident & Crisis Response

Lead emergency response planning and execution.

Manage investigations and serve as the primary contact during emergencies.

5. Budget Management

Develop and manage the department’s budget, track expenses, and recommend cost-effective investments in security technology and equipment.

6. Stakeholder & Vendor Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, local law enforcement, landlords, and external vendors to enhance security operations.

7. Security Technology & Systems

Oversee maintenance and operations of physical security systems such as alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.

8. Training & Awareness

Develop and conduct security awareness programs and regular training sessions for employees and security staff.

9. Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.

Prepare detailed security reports and updates for senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, or related field.

· 5–10 years of experience in corporate security or facility management.

· Strong knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).

· Excellent leadership, crisis management, and communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies.

Pay: From ₹48,000.00 per month
