Job Description

As an Account Executive at Mohawk Industries, you will be the principal selling agent within the assigned territory, responsible for achieving short and long-term objectives set in the company's Business Plan. Your role will involve discovering new customers and existing markets in the territory, and you may be assigned to a specific market segment if based in a major metropolitan area. **Role Overview:** - Perform sales calls by traveling to customers" facilities, providing information and support, making sales presentations, calculating and quoting prices, taking orders, and closing transactions. - Monitor territory performance against objectives and take appropriate actions to improve performance. - Provide customer service to ensure issue resolution within marketing policies, communicate customer requirements, and provide product-specific feedback to assist in achieving company objectives. - Assist in establishing sales objectives for the territory, ensure sales activities comply with policies, and stay informed of industry changes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop a territory coverage plan and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's business and product lines. - Analyze region opportunities, develop forecasts for sales, and identify activities to achieve specific product sales goals. - Recommend expense budgets, manage business expenses, and ensure the proper use and maintenance of company-owned equipment and materials. - Perform other duties as required. **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma required; college degree preferred. - 1-3 years of relevant work experience and the ability to learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's business and product lines. **What You're Good At:** - Excellent presentation, oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Ability to work and communicate with diverse groups, achieve results through team efforts, and gather and analyze data to develop solutions. - Interact with and track orders through mohawkNet system and ability to travel. **Additional Company Details:** Mohawk Industries is a global flooring manufacturer known for creating products that enhance residential and commercial spaces worldwide.
