Job Description

As a resource manager at UKG, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's resources to ensure efficient operations and successful project delivery. Your primary role will involve allocating and scheduling resources such as human capital, equipment, and materials based on project requirements and organizational priorities. Collaborating with project managers, department heads, and other stakeholders, you will assess resource requirements, develop plans, and allocate resources accordingly. By analyzing project demands and resource utilization, you will make informed decisions to optimize resource allocation within the organization. Maintaining accurate resource records, tracking resource utilization, and identifying potential bottlenecks will also be part of your responsibilities. Your expertise in resource planning and management will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of projects and achieving organizational goals. The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to working with people at all levels. A sense of humor is also valued in our team! Your objectives will include analyzing project demands, collaborating with various stakeholders to understand resource requirements, developing resource planning strategies, optimizing resource utilization, and providing guidance to project teams on resource-related matters. You will also be involved in developing and implementing resource management strategies and processes to optimize resource allocation, collaborating with project managers to identify resource requirements, evaluating project timelines and budgets, and tracking resource utilization. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in resource management or a related role, a strong understanding of resource planning principles, proficiency in resource management software, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, and a detail-oriented mindset. A strategic perspective, ability to work well under pressure, and adaptability to changing priorities are also essential. A master's degree in business administration or project management, professional certification in resource management, familiarity with resource management in specific industries, experience with resource management software or ERP systems, knowledge of project management methodologies, strong financial acumen, and experience in managing remote teams would be considered as preferred qualifications.
