About the Role

Senior React Native + Node.js/NestJS Developer

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development – React Native

Develop, maintain, and optimize
React Native applications
for iOS & Android.
Implement advanced features such as real-time updates, video/audio calling, push notifications, and background tasks.
Optimize performance, memory management, and cross-platform behavior.

Backend Engineering – Node.js / NestJS

Build scalable backend services using
Node.js or NestJS
.
Develop REST APIs / GraphQL APIs, middleware, authentication modules, and microservices.
Implement secure and optimized server-side logic.

Firebase Integration

Implement features using:
Firebase Authentication
Firestore / Realtime Database
Cloud Functions
Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Firebase Storage
Manage Firebase rules, triggers, and optimization strategies.

Real-Time Communication

Integrate
Agora
or similar RTC SDKs (WebRTC, ZegoCloud, Twilio).
Build chat, video/audio calling, and live streaming components.
Handle low-latency synchronization and event-driven workflows.

Architecture, Ownership & Collaboration

Own features end-to-end—architecture, development, testing, deployment.
Work closely with product managers, UX, and backend teams.
Document technical decisions and maintain reusable code patterns.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of professional software development.
Strong expertise in
React Native
(iOS + Android).
Proficiency in
Node.js
or
NestJS
.
Hands-on experience with
Firebase suite
(Auth, Firestore/RTDB, FCM, Storage, Functions).
Experience with
Agora
or similar real-time SDKs.
Strong at debugging, optimizing, and architecting mobile apps.
Experience with TypeScript (preferred).
Understanding of mobile app security, performance tuning, and CI/CD.
Ability to work independently in fast-paced teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with
WebSockets
, event-driven systems, RTC signaling.
Knowledge of
OAuth, JWT, secure storage, app hardening
.
Experience building social, dating, or real-time collaboration apps.
AI-first development using Cursor, Copilot, or similar tools.
