Sr. Purchase Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Purchase with 1-2 years of experience to manage procurement operations, vendor coordination, and ensure timely sourcing of materials and services. The ideal candidate will support the purchase department in streamlining buying processes and optimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily procurement activities including purchase order creation, follow-up, and documentation.
• Identify and negotiate with vendors for competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Maintain records of purchases, suppliers, delivery timelines, and product specifications.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply chain issues.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand material requirements and plan purchases accordingly.
• Assist in evaluating vendor performance and maintaining the approved vendor list.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and basic quality standards.
• Support the team in inventory planning and stock level monitoring.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
• Diploma/Certificate in Material Management or Supply Chain is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum1- 2 years of relevant experience in a purchasing or procurement role.

Skills Required:

• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
• Experience using ERP or Tally is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.

Pay: ₹25,086.43 - ₹30,022.62 per month
