Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment as per the specifications and safety standards. The role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail to ensure efficient operations. Key Responsibilities: Assembly & Installation: Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components, equipment, and systems. Ensure accurate alignment and functioning of parts. Maintenance & Repairs: Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify faults or malfunctions. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. Technical Expertise: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Use tools and machinery such as grinders, drills, and welding equipment safely and efficiently. Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on fitted components to ensure they meet the required standards. Adhere to company and industry safety regulations and guidelines. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and maintenance logs. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress and issues. Qualifications & Skills: Education: ITI/Diploma in Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 1 of experience as a Fitter in [specify industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction]. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components. Soft Skills: Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
