Sr Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (PMC) to lead and oversee bottling plant projects as an owner s representative. The role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycle from conceptualization to commissioning ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and adherence to budget across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

The candidate must bring expertise in managing high-value projects in the FMCG or beverage manufacturing sector with a strong focus on bottling technologies and plant infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Act as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) on behalf of the client/owner for greenfield or brownfield bottling plant projects.
• Provide oversight and coordination across all project phases Feasibility, Basic Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning.
• Establish project governance, frameworks, and execution strategy in line with client goals.

Planning Execution:

• Develop and manage project master schedules , milestones, and critical paths.
• Coordinate with consultants, OEMs, EPC contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and drive adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety norms.
• Conduct regular site reviews, inspections, and project health assessments.

Technical Oversight:

• Oversee technical evaluation and selection of bottling equipment (e.g., blow molders, fillers, cappers, labelers).
• Ensure integration of utilities (compressors, water treatment, CIP systems, etc.) and infrastructure (MEP, HVAC, civil).
• Review and approve engineering drawings, layouts, and BOQs.

Cost Contract Management:

• Prepare and manage CAPEX budgets , forecasts, and cost control measures.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts, work orders, and change requests with vendors and contractors.
• Track billing, certifications, and ensure cost optimization without compromising quality.
