Sr/ PCB Designer

2) Component Selection:

• Collaborate with the hardware and design engineers and the purchase team to select appropriate electronic components based on functionality, cost, and availability.
• Ensure compatibility and compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Design Verification:
• Conduct design reviews in collaboration with the hardware and design engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and design guidelines.
• Perform simulations and analysis to validate the performance and reliability of the PCB design.
  

• 3) Documentation:
  

  • Provides necessary inputs for purchase, design engineer and documentation engineers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design changes and revisions.
    

  • 4) Collaboration:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, design engineers, QC, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs into the overall product. 5) Prototyping Support:
    Provide support during the prototyping phase, collaborating with the manufacturing team to address any issues that may arise during PCB assembly and testing.

    6) Regulatory Compliance:
    Ensure that PCB designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and any relevant certification requirements. 7) Cost Optimisation:
    Collaborate with related teams, such as procurement and manufacturing teams to optimise PCB designs for cost-effectiveness without compromising performance and reliability. 8) Technology Trends:
    Stay informed about advancements in PCB design technologies, tools, and methodologies. Integrate modern technologies to improve design processes and outcomes.

      D. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
      
      Qualification: Bachelor s degreeDiploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, E&TC or a related field.
      Experience: Proven experience in PCB design, including proficiency in using Altium tools.

      E. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIREMENT
      
      Technical Skills:
      Proficient in PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro). Solid understanding of signal integrity, power distribution, and thermal considerations in PCB design. Behavioral Skills
