Job Summary

Sr. Node.js Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js. 
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 
• Integrate with various database systems (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL). 
• Collaborate with front-end developers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. 
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices. 
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers. 
• Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations. 
• Implement and manage third-party integrations. 
• Ensure application security and data protection practices. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in backend development using Node.js. 
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), Express.js, and asynchronous programming. 
• Strong knowledge of database systems like MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL. 
• Hands-on experience with ORMs and query builders (e.g., Sequelize, Mongoose, Knex). 
• Good understanding of API security, authentication (JWT, OAuth), and performance tuning. 
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git). 
• Experience with Docker, Redis, or other caching mechanisms is a plus. 
• Ability to write unit/integration tests using Mocha, Jest, or similar tools. 
• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and automation using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc. 
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on

  AWS

  (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). 
• Familiarity with

  containerization (Docker)

  and orchestration platforms like

  Kubernetes

• Strong grasp of

• Bachelor's degree in
