Sr. Node.js Backend Developer

As a Senior Node.js Developer with 57 years of experience, you will be an integral part of our development team located on-site at Infocity, Gandhinagar. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure the scalability and speed optimization of applications. Your expertise in backend development using Node.js will be crucial, along with a deep understanding of various database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. You will need to write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices, conduct code reviews, and provide mentorship to junior developers. Identifying performance bottlenecks, suggesting optimizations, managing third-party integrations, and ensuring application security and data protection practices will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should be proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), Express.js, and asynchronous programming. Hands-on experience with ORMs and query builders, API security, authentication, and performance tuning is essential. Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, deployment and management of applications on AWS, containerization, and orchestration platforms will be beneficial. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required. Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments, strong analytical and debugging skills, excellent communication, and team collaboration abilities are also highly valued. Local candidates from Gandhinagar or Ahmedabad are preferred for this position.,
