Job Title: Senior Merchant – International Business

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Merchant to lead and manage our international merchandising and sales operations in the stainless-steel utensils industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of international trade, global market trends, customer requirements, and production coordination. This role involves working closely with buyers, managing key accounts, and coordinating with production and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. International Business Development:

• Identify and develop new international markets and customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with overseas buyers, distributors, and importers.
• Participate in global trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B meetings to promote products.

2. Merchandising & Order Execution:

• Coordinate with buyers for sampling, pricing, negotiations, and order confirmations.
• Handle end-to-end merchandising processes — from product development to shipment.
• Ensure alignment between buyer expectations and production capabilities.

3. Product & Market Knowledge:

• Stay up to date with international trends in stainless steel kitchenware and homeware.
• Provide input to the design and production teams based on buyer preferences and global market trends.

4. Pricing & Costing:

• Prepare and manage competitive quotations and pricing strategies.
• Work closely with finance and production teams to ensure profitability on each order.

5. Production Coordination:

• Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve any production or quality issues in coordination with the factory and QC teams.

6. Documentation & Compliance:

• Oversee export documentation, including LC, shipping instructions, and compliance with international trade regulations.
• Ensure timely dispatches and coordinate with logistics for smooth delivery.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in international merchandising/export sales in the stainless-steel utensils/homeware industry.
• Salary Package-45k to 55k

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
