Job Description Sr Manager/ Manager (Admissions & Outreach) Company Website - www.bitsom.edu.in Job Title:Sr Manager/ Manager Function: Admissions & Outreach Reports to position: Head - Admissions & Outreach Location: BITSoM, Kalyan, Maharastra Reportees to Position: TBD Job Purpose Leading the execution of admissions (post application selection procedure) for BITSoMs flagship 2 year MBA program ensuring quality and profile of students as per objectives decided. Job Outline The incumbent is responsible for assisting the Head of Admissions and Outreach in strategizing the outreach and admissions plan to achieve the desired goals, monitoring the progress pf the same and maintaining effective records while ensuring complete adherence to the admissions policies during the post application selection process. To meet the above objectives, the incumbent will have the following responsibilities: Processing of Admission Applications: Evaluate and process admissions applications according to school policies and guidelines for admissions decision making Ensure accurate record keeping of applications, acceptance offers, rejections, and withdrawals and regular compilation of admissions reports Organize admissions interviews by coordinating with applicants and the school officials Serve as a resource for applicants regarding admissions procedures, eligibility requirements, and programs offered by answering associated queries Assist Head of Admissions and Outreach in creation and amendment of admissions policies and represent the admissions office as required. Outreach: Assist the Marketing department with the development and execution of the marketing plan by keeping abreast of the latest higher education admissions trends Coordinate and conduct programs for targeting and recruitment of prospective students through activities such as application workshops, info sessions etc., as and when required to support the outreach team Nurturing the existing leads with the help of the counselling team and keeping a record on the progress of the counselling team. Miscellaneous: Maintain high standards of information and awareness about the schools admissions policies and guidelines Analyze trends in student applications and recruitment programs for strategic improvement to the pre-existing processes Other responsibilities, as and when required Job SpecificationKnowledge / EducationSpecific SkillsDesirable Experience Management education from a reputed institute will be preferred Understanding of Indian Higher Education landscape and related policies Communication, Influence and Negotiation (written and verbal) skills Individual & Group Presentation Lead and Sales Funnel management A good blend of strategy development as well as execution Passion for work, making a difference, intellectual curiosity and commitment to learning Comfortable in working alternative schedules including evenings and weekends. Ability and willingness to travel.
