Responsibilities: Implement and manage HSE policies per client requirements and industry best practices. Identify and manage safety risks for solar PV projects (rooftop, ground-mounted, floating). Develop and maintain site-specific documents, such as Safety Procedures, HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment), Emergency Plans, JSA (Job Safety Analysis), and Site Induction formats. Ensure effective implementation of HSE & Environmental management systems across multiple project sites. Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, contractor discussions, and client reviews. Organized and delivered HSSE training for employees and contractors. Work with construction and EPC teams to improve their HSSE standards. Conduct internal and external audits and inspections to ensure safety compliance. Support incident investigations to find root causes and recommend corrective/preventive actions. Maintain weekly/monthly HSSE reports covering incidents, grievances, compliance, waste management, and more. Conduct emergency drills and ensure preparedness at all times. Take on additional HSSE-related tasks as required. Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or similar field. Certified Safety Expert Strong knowledge of HSE laws, Skilled in construction safety, especially working at height, rescue operations, and electrical safety. At least 8 years of experience in power generation or construction, preferably in solar rooftop projects. Passionate about renewable energy with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset. Willing to travel frequently for multi-site project management. Able to train and assess HSE skills of staff and contractors. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Reliable, flexible, and good at cross-functional coordination. Strong in planning, team leadership, and communication.
