Sr Manager, Engineering

Tasks

Analyzes, designs, develops and documents commercial software productsWork on the research, development, testing, and maintenance of one or more ISW productsDemonstrates high aptitude in a variety of software engineering concepts, practices, and proceduresRelies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsTake ownership of development work through to delivery, including fully automated testing of componentsProvides technical support to project team members. Participate in design and code reviewsManages the team as a supervisor and mentor to accomplish engineering tasks and objectives. Will perform team leadership for a team of engineersSets goals and measures against the goals.Changes the processes and upskills the team as need arises

Qualifications

14-17 years of desktop and web applications web and desktop applications leveraging industry standardsStrong knowledge and experience in C, C++, VC++, MFC, Manage C++, WinForm and Java application development.5+ years of People Management Experience managing and mentoring a team of 8+ Engineers and Senior EngineersExperience with OLAP databases (like TM1/Infor/SAP/Oracle)Experience with Microsoft Server Analysis Services (MDX)Knowledge on Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat)Proficiency in JAVA Spring Boot framework and frontend - Vue.js preferredKnowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.Front end development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.jsFamiliarity with public clouds such as AWS or AzureFamiliarity with real-time streaming systemsKnowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Collaborate with team members to define project requirements, priorities, and timelines.Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

Familiarity with Hazelcast in-memory data gridShell scripting
