Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Investor Relations:

1. Build healthy relationship with:

  • Buy Side- Existing institutional investor team(s)
  • Sell Side- Leading analysts covering the sector
  • IR partner firm

2. Build and execute effective IR strategy suited for the near team market and industry environment while keeping in view the long-term value creation objective(s).

3. Prepare/ update suitable narrative and communication pointers at all times by taking inputs from all key internal stakeholders.

4. Responding to queries from investors/analysts/media in a timely and effective manner.

5. Conduct/facilitate investor/analyst interactions across various formats like one on one/ group meeting, conference, non-deal roadshows, etc.

6. Keep track of and share regular updates on Industry and Competitor results/guidance/ commentary/ news.

7. Assist secretarial team in ensuring relevant Stock Exchange compliances and filings, relevant inputs for Board meetings/ AGM including suitable interaction with institutional shareholders w.r.t. proxy advisors report on voting.

Corporate Strategy & MIS:

1. Prepare/ update business plan workings (long term financial plan) of the group.

2. Work closely with Sales / production teams for delivery of business plan.

3. Generate various MIS reports including management review reports on sales / production and profitability and give meaningful insights to the management.

4. Prepare rolling cashflow and suitable plan for efficient deployment of cash generation.

5. Work extensively with sales / production on business finance assignments like, market mapping, sales channel including ROI working for dealers, critical vendor identification and management, Logistics cost etc.

6. Prepare/update the following:

  • Quarterly board / investor presentation
  • Quarterly analyst conference call narrative
  • Annual report narrative and MD&A section including ESG
  • Other need based/ event-based narratives.

7. Working on various business projections and scenarios and business modelling which may be needed for business projections, potential investments, evaluation of valuation of business/ company for fair valuation, projects for banks etc.

8. Evaluate proposals/potential targets (M&A/ JV) on various financial and strategic parameters and provide initial recommendations to internal stakeholders.

a) Prepare and update business plan scenarios and financial simulations for target evaluation.

b) Act as key co-ordinator for following from Company's side to ensure timely and efficient steps in deal lifecycle:

  • IB engagement team(s)
  • Financial DD team(s)
  • Legal DD team(s)

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Reasonable knowledge of Excel.
  3. Good PowerPoint skills.
  4. Candidate must have worked closely with IT in developing various MIS reports. Preferably in various management dashboards.
  5. CA / MBA Finance / CFA

Desirable

  1. Working knowledge of SAP.
  2. Knowledge of banking and treasury operations.
  3. Working in a B2C consumer goods business where sale is done through dealers / distributors.
