Sr. Java Developer

We developed AVLView.com, a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)/Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering that is considered among the top fleet management platforms globally.

We seek a talented and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, including experience with microservices architectures and cloud services. As a senior development team member, you will lead projects, mentor junior developers, and ensure our backend systems are robust, scalable, and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Lead the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Develop high-quality, reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionality.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability. Optimise applications for best performance by analysing it using performance tools.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, or others.
• Skilled in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Angular JS, React JS and any script framework).
• Experience with microservices architectures and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL database integration.
• Familiarity with web servers like Tomcat, Node JS, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹720,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
