Sr Interior Designer-Real Estate

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead design concepts and project execution for residential and commercial real estate developments. The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills, design vision, and hands-on experience in managing interior projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development

• Lead end-to-end interior design concepts for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare mood boards, sketches, 3D visualizations, and detailed design presentations.
• Ensure all designs align with project requirements, aesthetics, and functional goals.

Project Coordination & Execution

• Work closely with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, and project managers for seamless design execution.
• Prepare and review detailed drawings, GFC sets, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and resolve design clarifications.

Material & Vendor Management

• Source and evaluate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures.
• Manage vendor relationships for procurement, mock-ups, and timely execution.
• Work within defined budgets while maintaining design quality.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction

• Present design concepts and progress updates to management and clients.
• Understand and interpret client needs into practical and aesthetic design solutions.
• Coordinate approvals and ensure smooth communication across all stakeholders.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare detailed working drawings and specifications for construction.
• Maintain documentation related to design approvals, materials, and project records.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in interior design, preferably within a real estate developer or design consultancy.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (mandatory).
• Additional software knowledge (preferred): 3ds Max, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lumion, Enscape.
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, lighting design, ergonomics, and market trends.
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to execution.
• Strong communication, presentation, and team coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Preferable knowledge of AI tools.
