Job Summary:

Lead the design and execution of interior spaces for healthcare projects, ensuring they are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with industry standards. This role bridges the gap between the design team and the Design Head, providing creative direction, technical expertise, and team management. The Senior Interior Designer will work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the interior design process for healthcare facilities, from concept development to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements and regulatory standards.
• Develop innovative design concepts, detailed plans, and specifications for construction, including selection of materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures.
• Prepare and review design presentations, drawings, mood boards, and cost estimates for client approval.
• Supervise and mentor junior interior designers and interns, delegating tasks and ensuring quality of deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to integrate interior design solutions and ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
• Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle, presenting ideas, gathering feedback, and ensuring satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies, and incorporate best practices into design solutions.
• Support the Design Head in implementing design strategies, standards, and quality control processes across projects.

Team Management Responsibilities for People Manager Role

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively, balancing workloads and leveraging individual team strengths.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support for professional growth and skill development.
• Organize and facilitate design reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training workshops.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field from a recognized institution.

Work Experience:

• 7–10 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio in healthcare or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in leading project teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare facility planning, building codes, and statutory regulations.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in interior design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles and materials.
• Hands on experience in Project management tools and project execution
• Proficiency in NABH and JCI Guidelines
