Responsibilities:
- Design and develop performance-based e-Learning and other training content.
- Determine skill and performance objectives, activities, and knowledge assessments for learning.
- Apply strong instructional design principles to create creative, impactful training solutions to appeal to adult learning styles.
- Collaborate with e-Learning developers to create best-in-class e-Learning.
- Work with subject matter experts and identify the target audience’s training needs.
- State instructional end goals and create content that matches them.
- Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.
- Use instructional design best practices and emerging technologies (example, AI) in their work.
- Manage their work as part of the team’s Agile Kanban practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in an instructional design role with most of that in a corporate/adult learning environment creating e-Learning.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience with SaaS technical product training or platforms is an advantage.
- Expert-level in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
- Experience designing content for accessibility standards.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), video editing tools (Camtasia).
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems.
- Ability to work and communicate constructively with a broad set of stakeholders and learners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and maintain focus on key priorities and conflicting demands.
- Able to work across time zones on a global team in a matrixed environment.
