Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Builder (EL4-5) to join our Application Delivery & Security team. This role involves supporting and engineering solutions around F5, Cloudflare, A10, WAFs (OFE, CHC, cloud & on-prem), and Shape Bot Protection, with a strong focus on automation, uptime, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage a large inventory of application delivery controllers (F5, A10, AVI, WAF, NGINX, etc.) with (~10 U.S. based engineers and ~10 International engineers on the team)

Ensure 99.99%+ application uptime through effective deployment and configuration of load balancers.

Troubleshoot complex Layer 1–7 network issues and communicate status updates/ resolutions clearly to stakeholders.

Execute projects such as:
- Load balancer upgrades (software/hardware)- WAF onboarding and cloud migration- SSL/TLS inspection deployment

Apply software engineering mindset to build tools and solve problems using code generation AI and scripting.

Automate repeatable tasks using scripting languages and tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins.

Document network topologies and MOPs for repeatable engineering tasks.

Secure applications against malicious HTTP/S traffic using WAFs.

Participate in on-call rotation (1 week every 4 weeks, 8am–8pm IST) and support off-hour change windows as needed.

Work independently on complex, less structured issues and serve as a resource to peers.

Required Qualifications

5+ years in IT infrastructure architecture, support, and security.

3+ years in application delivery controller management (minimum 2 years with F5).

2+ years securing cloud-native applications (Azure, GCP, AWS) using WAAP/CDN tools (Cloudflare, Imperva, Akamai, F5 XC).

2+ years in network/security appliance maintenance (switches, routers, firewalls, proxies).

2+ years in infrastructure automation using Perl/Python and tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins.

2+ years securing applications with WAFs (F5 ASM/AWAF).

1+ year experience with AI technologies, focusing on automation and self-serve security capabilities.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with F5 LTM, GTM (DNS), ASM (AWAF), SSLO, A10, AVI, Shape Bot Protection.

Familiarity with cloud provider consoles (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Exposure to F5 XC, Cloudflare, Imperva.

Strong scripting and automation mindset.

Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,859,478.27 per year
