Senior Design Engineer – HVAC

A. Educational Qualification:

B.E. Mechanical

B. Experience:

1. 7-10 years of experience in HVAC Design and Drafting.

2. Experience in hotels / hospitals / office buildings / IT fit-outs/ Apartments/ Industries/ Residential/ Commercial buildings.

C. Knowledge:

1. Good exposure in Commercial Air conditioning systems, Operation theatres and Clinical specialties, Kitchen ventilation, Basement car park ventilation, Cleanroom air conditioning, Data centres cooling, Earth Air tunnel, Radiant Cooling, Geothermal Heating/Cooling, Refrigeration, and Central heating.

2. Knowledge about system design as per NBC, ASHRAE, and ISHRAE.

3. Knowledge of space planning including sizing, locating AHU rooms, and chiller plant room.

D. Software Knowledge:

Mandatory: Auto CAD, Proficiency in MS Office.

Revit MEP Added Advantage

E. Functional Skills Requirements:

1. Design Skills – Requirements collection, Heat load calculation based on architectural drawings USING HAP/Excel-based tool, chiller plant room design, plan, and section drawings, Design basis report, space planning, Design new or replacement heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems specific to client needs and building specifications, centralized toilet exhaust system along with scheme/ isometric drawing, ventilation system for the basement car park/ services areas/ kitchens, Duct sizing design, chilled water piping design (sizing, layout and scheme along with associated components), Refrigerant piping design for DX and VRF systems (sizing, layout and scheme).

2. Drawing Skills – 2D drawings –Schematic / single line drawings, detailed sections / elevations as applicable

3. Documentation – Preparation of Material Take of Sheets, Bill of Quantities, Technical specifications, budgetary estimates

4. Project Execution – Responding to RFIs, Quality Reports, Material and drawing approvals.

5. Responsible for the project from the design stage to execution and completion of the project at site.

6. Monitoring the progress of site at work and reporting the same to management and client as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹625,000.00 per year
