About Role


Designation- Senior Team Member


Reports to- DGM_ Procurement


Location- Delhi

Role Description and Purpose

The job holder provides procurement support to business
teams that are directly supporting our APAC customers. The job holder isexpected to help ensure our supply chains are effective and responsive suchthat they help us exceed the expectations of our customers and help us win andretain business.

Purpose - Broad objective of the role

Responsibilities


Work with pre-sales/ bid manager team onunderstanding the scope of bids/ deals and mapappropriate vendorconsidering capability and commercial feasibility


Create and develop relationships with keysuppliers and stakeholders


Lead commercial negotiations with suppliersfor goods and services ensure the best termspossible are obtained to wincustomer deals within a stringent timeline


Ensure purchases are executed in a timelymanner and in accordance with the companyspolicies.


Track and report key functional metrics toreduce expenses and improve effectiveness


Collaborate with key persons including demand& delivery manager to ensure clarity ofthe specificationsandSLAs


Develop risk management plans for keycategory areas to ensure security of supply


Seek out supply chain advantages to help thebusiness improve its ability to compete and win

Job Requirements


Experience of working in a similar roleideally within a telecom environment


4-6 years procurement experience at leasthalf of which shouldbe in Telecom, ITcompanies.


BTech / MBA qualification is must


Experience of working in a pre-salesenvironment is must


Strong negotiation and stakeholder managementskills


Good knowledge of sourcing, procurement andsupplier management


Experience of leading contract negotiationsfor network, IT (including software licenses)


Well organized and self-motivated individualcapable of working with a high degree ofautonomy


Ability to work under time pressure and withsome amount of ambiguity


Possess analytical skills to determine thebest deals for the company and have to evaluate themany pros and cons ofeach supplier based on price, quality, speed of delivery and other factors

Job Requirements

1. Complete
understanding of Enterprise Business in Telecom Industry- 4 to 5 years

2. Well
versed in Telecom networks and IT procurement

3. Fair
understanding of Purchasing & Negotiating Network, UCaaS, Security andHosting Services contract

4. Good
understanding of Cost (Should be able to derive cost) and spend management

5. Good
To have- Network background or experience

6. Look
candidates from Engineering background (Prf. from Tier 1 or Tier 2 college)
