Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Solving day to day IR issues, planning and implementing various HR interventions & Managing Employee Relations at all levels.
  • Ensuring Disciplinary action process in the matters like unauthorized absenteeism, negligence, insubordination, idling & wasting the time, stoppage of work, by way of verbal counselling, written counselling, cautioning, warning, suspension & termination, Domestic Enquiry and conciliation matter at labor office.
  • Maintaining healthy employee relations and managing employee grievances thus creating an amicable & transparent environment; ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances & Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances and maintaining cordial employee relations.
  • Handling shop floor issues, grievances related to welfare facilities, indiscipline cases and interactions with union to formulate and implement welfare policies for the employees.
  • Ensuring 100% statutory compliance under various Labor Laws including Criminal, and Corporate Social Responsibilities. Monitoring statutory compliance at all levels involving liaising with external agencies, Govt. authorities & offices like PF, ESI, Labor Dept.
  • Implementing disciplinary standards for minimizing violations of rules & regulations.
  • Maintenance of discipline in organization, formulation of various committees, dealing with Union office bearers and their representatives, provide Industrial safety, negotiations with Unions to achieve maintain and increase goodwill and image of the organization, eliminate absenteeism.
  • Medical Insurance Administration and liaison with Govt./Statutory/Local authorities.
  • Union monthly meetings (MOM), Bonus & Long Term Settlement (Wage Agreement).
  • Medical Insurance Claim Settlement GMC, GPA & GTLI

Preferred candidate profile

  • Practical Understanding of the applicability of Labor Laws at the plant level.
  • Good conceptual understanding of IRs & Legal Compliances
  • Ability to establish strong relationships at all levels throughout the organization
  • Excellent in Verbal & Written communication in Marathi apart from English and Hindi.

Qualification

MPM/ MLS / MSW /MBA
