Sr Engineer-NPD

Job Title: Sr. Engineer – NPD

Reports to: NPD Reporting Manager
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical / Tool & Die Making or equivalent
Experience: 6–8 years in product development (Plastic Injection Molding / Die Casting / Automotive)

Job Purpose

Lead and manage the development of new products as per customer requirements, ensuring timely project execution and adherence to quality standards. Handle a dedicated product line for focused and effective development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple NPD projects and ensure milestone achievements.
• Design and develop plastic products end-to-end with expertise in injection molding and DFM.
• Handle tool design, cost estimation, mold manufacturing, and tool commissioning.
• Conduct trials, debug molding issues (shrinkage, deformation, cycle time), and establish molding parameters.
• Collaborate with tooling vendors and select appropriate machines and equipment for pilots.
• Review pilot samples, engineering documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Implement process improvements and innovative solutions for product development.

Skills & Knowledge

• Product development and process engineering.
• Tool building, Insert/Co-Molding, and molding cycle optimization.
• Stage-gate processes, QA/compliance, and production planning.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
