Sr Engineer - Estimation & Billing

Working out detailed quantity estimate of building, reconciliation, rate analysis, checking & finalising bills.

Responsibilities:
Detailed Quantity Estimation:Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.Accurately calculate material and labor requirements for all stages of building construction.Utilize estimation software and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Rate Analysis:Conduct thorough rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.Develop and maintain a database of current market rates.Reconciliation:Reconcile actual quantities with estimated quantities.Identify and investigate any discrepancies or variances.Prepare reconciliation reports for project managers.Billing and Invoicing:Prepare accurate and timely bills and invoices based on work progress.Verify and process subcontractor invoices.Ensure compliance with contractual billing terms.Bill Checking and Finalization:Thoroughly check and verify all bills and invoices for accuracy and completeness.Finalize bills and obtain necessary approvals.Maintain accurate records of all billing documents.Cost Control:Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns.Develop and implement cost control measures.Provide cost-related reports to project management.Contract Management:Assist in the review and interpretation of contract documents related to estimation and billing.Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.Documentation:Maintain organized and accurate records of all estimations, bills, and related documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:Significant experience in estimation and billing within the building construction industry.Proven track record of accurate quantity take-offs and cost control.
