Legal Officer

Responsibilities:
Contract Management:Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including but not limited to:Redevelopment agreementsSale agreementsLease agreementsVendor contractsConsultancy agreementsEnsure all agreements comply with applicable laws and regulations.Maintain a database of all legal documents and contracts.Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks.Redevelopment Legal Matters:Provide legal advice on matters related to redevelopment projects, including:Land acquisition and title verification.Compliance with local and state redevelopment laws.Handling disputes with tenants or landowners.Obtaining necessary approvals and permits.Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions.Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.Legal Compliance:Ensure the company's operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations.Stay up-to-date on changes in legislation and regulations.Conduct internal audits to identify and mitigate legal risks.Dispute Resolution:Assist in resolving legal disputes and claims.Negotiate settlements and draft settlement agreements.Represent the company in mediation or arbitration proceedings.Documentation and Record Keeping:Maintain organized and accurate legal records.Qualifications and Requirements:Education:Bachelor's degree in law (LLB) or equivalent.Experience:Proven experience in drafting and reviewing various agreements.Knowledge of handling legal matters related to redevelopment projects.Experience in real estate law is highly desirable.
