Review and understand construction plans, specifications, and drawings. Participate in site investigations and data collection. Help prepare material estimates and cost calculations. Assist with obtaining permits and other necessary documentation. Attend pre-construction meetings and briefings. Monitor construction activities for compliance with plans and specifications. Perform basic quality control inspections of materials and workmanship. Identify and report any safety hazards or discrepancies to the Resident Engineer. Assist with surveying and setting out structures. Prepare and maintain progress reports and documentation. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers on logistics and deliveries. Assist with resolving minor issues and answering questions from workers. Assist with punch list items and final inspections. Prepare as-built drawings and documentation. Help close out project paperwork and contracts. Stay up-to-date on relevant building codes and safety regulations. Learn and use construction software and tools. Develop communication and teamwork skills. Contribute to a positive and safe work environment. Key Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction materials and methods. Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Proficiency in quality control inspection techniques. Role and Responsibilities Oversee and supervise day-to-day MEP related activities at site including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, STP, WTP, and ELV systems. Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project schedule. Monitor and ensure quality workmanship and safety at all times. Coordinate with MEP consultants for design clarifications, changes, and approvals. Liaise with MEP contractors and vendors to ensure timely mobilization, work execution, and delivery of materials and equipment. Interface with civil and architectural teams to align MEP work with overall construction activities. Review MEP shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements. Assist in resolving technical issues on-site with prompt and practical solutions. Provide feedback to design consultants based on site conditions and execution feasibility. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipment at site. Verify material quality and quantities received against approved specifications and BOQs. Maintain proper records of inventory, usage, and wastage control. Track progress of MEP works against the project schedule and escalate delays or bottlenecks. Prepare daily and weekly reports highlighting work status, manpower deployment, and key issues. Attend progress meetings with consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Supervise testing, commissioning, and final handover of MEP systems. Ensure all MEP services are properly integrated, tested, and documented. Qualifications and Education Requirements 7+ years of relevant experience in MEP supervision, preferably on hospitality or high-end residential/commercial projects. Preferred Skills Must have basic knowledge of: 1. Microsoft Office and Microsoft Projects (or Primevera) 2. Autocad
