A leading digital innovation and product consultancy is seeking a

Senior DevOps Engineer

to join a high-performing engineering team. This is a hybrid opportunity designed for professionals who are passionate about infrastructure automation, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and also possess experience in backend Java development.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, has a strong DevOps foundation, and enjoys mentoring team members while working on impactful, modern cloud-native projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
• Architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi)
• Manage and deploy containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Collaborate with backend teams to contribute to Java-based microservices architecture (Spring Boot, Kafka, REST APIs)
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack)
• Lead DevOps best practices and mentor junior team members
• Participate in Agile development processes and global technical discussions
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools
• 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
• Strong experience in any major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform or Pulumi)
• Fluency in Linux command-line and systems administration
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, TypeScript, or Python
• Java development experience using Java 8 or 17+, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Microservices
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Experience working in distributed global teams
• Agile/Scrum development environment familiarity
• Demonstrated leadership or consulting mindset
