About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices.
You will design, automate, secure, and optimize our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating closely with engineering, security, and QA teams to build highly scalable and secure platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Build and maintain secure, efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or similar tools.
• Lead Kubernetes cluster design, deployment, and operations (self-managed or EKS/GKE).
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, compliance checks, and secrets management.
• Monitor systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, CloudWatch, or ELK stack.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles and drive a shift-left approach.
• Manage and optimize Linux systems (Ubuntu/RedHat) and databases (MySQL, MongoDB).
• Define and maintain disaster recovery, backup, and high availability strategies.
• Ensure cost-efficient, reliable infrastructure through cloud optimization practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting).
• Solid understanding of DevSecOps tooling – container/image scanning, Vault/AWS Secrets Manager, policy enforcement (OPA/Kyverno).
• Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (Shell/Python).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms – GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
• Deep knowledge of AWS/GCP services (IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, EKS/GKE).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools – Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of DNS/CDN (Route 53, CloudFront, Akamai).
• Strong Linux systems and network security expertise.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with policy-as-code and compliance frameworks (CIS, SOC2).
• Exposure to service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or Zero Trust architectures.
• Contributions to open-source or DevOps communities.
• Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, FluxCD).
