The Indore-based social media startup, which provides local news, classifieds, buy-sell listings, and shop updates, announced that it has surpassed 1 crore (10 million) installations and serves more than 2.5 million monthly active users. They will also be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing scalable code from our Indore headquarters. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr. Backend Developer located in Indore. The Sr. Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient and reliable backend systems for millions of users. Daily tasks include coding, testing, debugging, and deploying backend services. The role also involves collaborating with front-end developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of applications. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals Proven experience in Back-End Development and Software Engineering Proficient in Java and well-versed in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts Solid understanding of multithreading and concurrency Familiar with database management systems and server-side technologies Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis Cache ; familiarity with Elasticsearch is a plus Skilled in building and integrating RESTful APIs using Java-based frameworks like Spring Boot or Play Experience working with multiple servers , Kubernetes , and scalable system design Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail Effective team player with strong collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field Experience with cloud platforms and external APIs is an added advantage Prior experience with B2C consumer products serving a mass user base is a strong plus Responsibilities Develop quality software Taking ownership of the application development, testing, and publishing.
