Role Overview: Lead Software Engineer (Agiloft/CLM)

The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and configuring Agiloft systems to enhance and streamline Lumen s business operations. This is a configuration-focused role not a full-stack development position. Comprehensive training and knowledge transfer on the Agiloft CLM platform will be provided.

The engineer will guide the technical direction for the development, delivery, and integration of multiple moderately complex software solutions. Responsibilities include translating business needs into technical designs, evaluating and selecting IT solutions, and establishing best practices, metrics, and methodologies for current and future implementations. The role also involves exploring emerging technologies and advising on their application within solution development, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the professional services team to configure a scalable, maintainable Agiloft system.


• Serve as an implementer on enterprise projects under the guidance of Solution Architects.


• Lead implementation efforts for commercial projects.


• Facilitate design sessions to gather and document customer requirements.


• Draft detailed specifications and configure low-complexity implementations.


• Manage internal customer interactions and handle initial escalations with a solution-oriented mindset.


• Deliver clear documentation and conduct effective training sessions.


• Partner with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Scrum Masters, QA Analysts, and Product Owners to deliver impactful business solutions.


• Work independently and collaboratively across distributed teams.


• Conduct peer reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.


• Develop and enhance automation for deployments in a microservices architecture.


• Ensure seamless, transparent, and fully automated code deployments.


• Continuously improve release processes and support the transition to CI/CD practices.


• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.


• Contribute to the design and architecture of new features and projects.


• Be available for after-hours deployments and participate in on-call rotations.


• Actively engage in agile ceremonies throughout project iterations.

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years

  of experience in enterprise development using CLM systems (configuration-based, not coding).



• 3 5 years

  in architecture, design, and development of web applications.



• 3 5 years

  working with Agile methodologies.



• 3 5 years

  of experience with both relational and non-relational databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in LegalTech and CLM platforms.


• Implementation experience with Salesforce, MS Dynamics, and related systems (e.g., Sourcing, Procurement, CPQ).


• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau.


• Familiarity with scripting, coding, and API integrations.
