NetSuite Functional Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into NetSuite functional solutions
• Configure and manage

  Expense Allocation

  rules to support accurate financial reporting and cost management
• Design, build, and publish

  NetSuite Dashboards

  tailored to different business roles and leadership needs
• Configure and maintain

  NetSuite Workflows

  , including basic

  workflow script writing

  where required
• Support functional configurations across NetSuite modules such as Finance, Accounting, and Expense Management
• Collaborate with technical teams for any advanced scripting or integrations beyond functional scope
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment activities
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend NetSuite best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a

  NetSuite Functional Consultant

• Strong functional expertise in

  Expense Allocation

  and financial configurations
• Proven experience in

  Dashboard creation and publishing

  in NetSuite
• Hands-on experience with

  NetSuite Workflows

  and basic workflow-related script writing
• Solid understanding of accounting processes and ERP best practices
• Ability to work closely with business users and translate requirements into functional solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• NetSuite Functional or Financial certification(s)
• Experience working in multi-subsidiary or multi-currency NetSuite environments
• Exposure to SuiteScript at a basic or intermediate level (functional support focus)
