Sr. Accounts Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Betel leaf is India's first online FSSAI certified Paan delivery company. We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements for our company.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4–10 years of relevant accounting and financial management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance; Master’s degree (M.Com) preferred.
• Additional professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA) will be an added advantage.

Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and hands-on experience with Tally Prime (ERP 9).
• Excellent numerical aptitude with strong reconciliation and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations (BRS), and general administration.
• Partner with senior management to conduct detailed cost and revenue analyses supporting business decisions.
• Collect, monitor, and analyze financial data such as sales revenues, expenses, and liabilities.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and P&L reports.
• Develop and maintain weekly forecasts of costs and revenues to support purchasing and financial planning.
• Ensure timely filing of monthly GST returns and compliance with statutory regulations.
• Coordinate and manage internal audits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to processes.
• Prepare and oversee company-wide and departmental budgets, tracking performance against forecasts.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensuring accuracy of financial records.
• Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing processes smoothly and within deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
