Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our company’s day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance, and should be capable of managing a small accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

· Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

· Maintain compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)

· Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits

· Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements

· Ensure accurate and timely closing of books

· Supervise and guide junior accounting staff as needed

· Suggest and implement process improvements for financial efficiency

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter or M.Com preferred)

· 4–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a senior role

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and compliance standards

· Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)

· Strong Excel and analytical skills

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
