Job Summary

Experienced Power BI and MS-SQL professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced business intelligence solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI dashboards and visualizations, leveraging data from MS-SQL Server databases. Optimize database queries and data models to deliver insightful analytics.Experience Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Power BI and MS-SQL development.

Mandatory Skills

Proficient in T-SQL for complex database querying and optimizationExpertise in Power BI desktop and service for report/dashboard developmentHands-on experience with SQL Server database design and managementStrong data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling and star schemaAbility to transform raw data into meaningful, actionable informationPreferred Skills ("Good to Have"):Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory)Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practicesFamiliarity with ETL processes and data integration toolsUnderstanding of Power BI governance, security, and deployment strategiesExposure to agile software development methodologiesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
