Sports Analyst Intern

Responsibilities

  Data Collection:

  Gather and organize historical and real-time sports data (scores, player stats, team metrics).
• ✅

  Performance Analysis:

  Analyze player and team performance to identify patterns, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• ✅

  Reporting:

  Prepare detailed match previews, post-match reports, and data-driven insights for the editorial team.
• ✅

  Visualizations:

  Build and maintain interactive dashboards to visualize game trends and statistical comparisons.
• ✅

  Market Research:

  Monitor global sports trends and fan engagement metrics to improve content strategy.

Requirements

• 🎓

  Education:

  Enrolled in or a graduate of Sports Management, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 📊

  Analytical Skills:

  Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into simple narratives.
• 💻

  Technical Proficiency:

  Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI). Knowledge of Python or R is a plus.

  Sports Passion:

  Deep knowledge of core sports concepts, rules, and advanced metrics (Cricket, Football, etc.).

  Soft Skills:

  Excellent written communication, high attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
