Specialist – Quality Assurance
We’re seeking a
Specialist- Quality Assurance
responsible for doing Quality Assurance activity. In this position you will get an opportunity to make meaningful impact of control framework and processes of Marsh. You will be exposed to different lines of Business and will have a view of policy wordings of various products giving you a good understanding of the Insurance Products. You will get a chance to understand the coverages, exclusions and other clauses in depth in a policy wording. You will develop the skill to interpret policy wordings and give your opinion on any shortcomings. You will have a view of the entire broking cycle right from the time when the client was approached to the time when the policy was placed and will learn to identify gaps in this process.
We will count on you to:
- Undertake QA/ Monitoring reviews in line with Group policies and procedures and suggest corrective actions/remedial measures to business.
- Interpret clauses of insurance and reinsurance contracts with specific emphasis on scope, coverage and limitations.
- Understand group & company procedures and monitor compliance in terms of the business placed by the group
- Review and compare policy wordings across different classes of business to advice business with regards to scope and limitations of cover
- Recommend pragmatic and effective remedial measures to business for addressing any procedural breaches caused during the placement process
- Understand market practices which impact the broking activities and align audit/review methodology to reflect commercial realities.
- Appropriate usage of MMC's systems for conducting reviews and monitoring and recording information, ensuring that systems are correctly used during the process.
- Build expertise within the team by conducting process and product trainings for various Marsh businesses.
- Take up various Adhoc projects to support additional QA requirements from business and stakeholders.
What you need to have:
- Graduate with 3 + years of experience Insurance Quality Assurance or Operations
- Good written and verbal communication skills (mandatory).
