Role Description Job Title: Senior Big Data Engineer – Scala/Spark Experience Range: 8 to 15 Years Work Location: Pune Notice Period: 0-30 Days Must-Have Skills Strong expertise in Scala, Spark, and AWS (or any cloud platform) Experience in writing multithreaded programs using Scala/Spark Proficiency in Git and build tools like Gradle/Maven/SBT Deep understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms Knowledge of sorting, heap/stack, queue, and search algorithms Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Good-to-Have Skills Experience with profiling and optimization techniques Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of Big Data frameworks and distributed systems Job Responsibilities Design and deliver scalable web services, APIs, and backend data modules Develop high-performance, reusable code following best practices Work closely with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and develop solutions Write unit test cases and participate in code reviews Stay updated with the latest technology trends, tools, and methodologies Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and system scalability Skills Apache Spark,Scala,Aws Show more Show less
